Fresh Perspective

Hello peeps!

Last time I wrote I mentioned I was starting a new chapter in my life.
So here I am revealing the mystery-
I have finally moved to Mumbai, well, Navi Mumbai, to be precise.

I am continuing my studies in NIFT Mumbai, pursuing Master of Design (Post Graduate in Design Space) after taking a year break from studies. The gap year was much needed. I explored my potential in different fields in the industry, worked for different people as a freelance designer and writer, got to stay at home a lot and spend a healthy time on myself.

I will write about my transition of Fashion Design to Design theory and academics in later posts. I am loving this course and hope to make the best of my days here.

I have been experimenting with my #college #ootd a lot, and have been regular at updating them on my Instagram. Do follow Mawipuiloves for tips and updates on styling your clothes differently everytime to wear them to make them look fresh. (This trait is a must-know for college going students without uniforms, no kidding!)

My style has evolved overtime with my personality. I think I'm more settled now and I find myself wearing clothes that I'm the most comfortable in.

Here, I am pairing my oversized denim flared top with a fitted belt on the waist to give a shape to my silhouette. I am wearing a printed kimono to layer it up. I have worn this top with a boot-cut denim too (check it out here: here). Since I went for a basic leggings and pumps with this look, I added a statement earrings to accessorise.

Outfit:
Denim top, belt, earrings and kimono shrug: Thrift
Black leggings: local market
Bag: H&M
Flats: Forever21

I have many posts planned ahead for whenever time permits me to post. I have topics I want to write about and want your opinions on. Do stay tuned for more discussions on fashion and ethics (yaay! :P ), and everything style. Until then, reach out and mail me enquiries about anything you think I would know. Always happy to help!
